Introducing direct launch mode for 1×1 widget (App Quarantine Pro)

By user request I have added a new option for the 1×1 widget. If the “Widget direct launch” (see screenshot) is enabled in the settings then the behaviour for the 1×1 widget is different. When an app is disabled and you click the widget then it’s automatically enabled and then launched. On the other hand if the app is already enabled and you click it again then it will be disabled. By the way this only works if you have setup a widget with only one app. If you are using a group in the 1×1 widget then the popup appears like usual. But try it out on your own! šŸ˜‰

APP QUARANTINE PRO is available at Google Play for 1 EURO.

Get it on Google Play

    • ramdroid says :

Yes, the PRO version of my Android app is only available for the new iPad! It’s yet to run on note books though.

Well of course it’s working on phones as well just like the free version! šŸ˜‰

    So I’m confused.
On a thunderbolt running Cyanogen 7.1

I installed the free version to check it out. No widget. No problem, install the Pro Version.
    No widget.
Uninstall the free version, still no widget.
Clear all app data, uninstall pro version, no widget.
    Re-install pro version. No widget.
    Am I missing something?

    • ramdroid says :

The widgets are working with both the free and pro versions.
If the widgets are not available then App Quarantine is installed on the SD card.
On Android, widgets are only working when the app is installed on internal memory.
So just go to Settings –> Apps –> App Quarantine –> Move to phone.

Thank you for the quick reply.
Yeah, that was it. šŸ˜€ I knew that and guess that I just forgot.

        Wow.
        Love the widget, LOVE IT.

Stupid “scramble” from zynga was constantly running in the background and beating the hell out of my battery. The widget runs it (instantly) and then freezes it (also instantly). Awesome, thank you so much.
